Coffee is the common thread.
It is the starting point, the sensory and symbolic anchor of each image.
Around it revolve three series, three atmospheres, three photographic gestures linked by the same quest: to capture intimacy, sensuality, and light.

In the still lifes, coffee reveals itself in a poetic, almost silent atmosphere.
Beans, steam, cup, shadow... each image is a pause, a breath.
The softness and composition evoke a romantic, peaceful, almost meditative feeling.

In the series blending women and coffee, sensuality naturally emerges. Coffee becomes a prelude, a partner, a witness to a delicate moment. The female body is presented with grace, gentleness, and accuracy — never frozen. It is seen with respect and light, as close as possible to what it expresses: life, warmth, movement.
Finally, in the images where coffee is in the foreground, the contrast reverses: eroticism appears in the background, blurred but powerful, like a contained tension. The coffee is sharp, tangible, almost tactile, while the woman becomes a suggestion, a mystery, a sensual mirage.
“Café en corps” is a photographic exploration of the link between matter and presence, warmth and gaze, everyday life and desire.

“Café en corps” Cette série me tient particulièrement à cœur. Je la construis depuis de nombreuses années, lentement, avec attention, patience et beaucoup de douceur.
Le café en est le fil conducteur. Il est le point de départ, l’ancrage sensoriel et symbolique de chaque image. Autour de lui s’articulent trois séries, trois atmosphères, trois gestes photographiques liés par une même quête : saisir l’intime, la sensualité, la lumière.
Dans les natures mortes, le café se dévoile dans une atmosphère poétique, presque silencieuse. Grains, vapeur, tasse, ombre... chaque image est une pause, une respiration. La douceur et la composition évoquent un sentiment romantique, apaisé, presque méditatif.
Dans les séries mêlant femmes et café, la sensualité affleure, naturellement. Le café devient prélude, partenaire, témoin d’un moment délicat. Le corps féminin est posé avec grâce, douceur et justesse — jamais figé. Il est regardé avec respect et lumière, au plus proche de ce qu’il exprime : la vie, la chaleur, le mouvement.
Enfin, dans les images où le café est au premier plan, le contraste s’inverse : l’érotisme s’invite en filigrane, en arrière-plan, flou mais puissant, comme une tension contenue. Le café est net, tangible, presque tactile, tandis que la femme devient suggestion, mystère, mirage sensuel.
"Café en corps" est une exploration photographique du lien entre matière et présence, chaleur et regard, quotidien et désir. Un hommage à la douceur du simple, au trouble du détail, et à l’art d’infuser la beauté dans le geste lent.
